The definition of FAITH
During G12 Conference last month, Rev. Nina Khong, talked about Esther.
How she was able to seize God's opportunity in her life.
One of the criteria she had was FAITH.
Rev. Nina said that "FAITH is not believing in spite of evidence, but obeying in spite of consequence. FAITH means believing in advance."
How true is that? Abraham had obeyed God despite knowing that he had to offer his son for sacrifice, a son that he had waited for for so many years.
Today, a classmate and I were talking about honours. I was telling her that I am going to do honours in spite of my ultra lousy CAP because I sensed the Holy Spirit tell me during the 1st few weeks of school that I should persist on. I had initially wanted to stop studying after this semester because of the impending pressure that is going to come in full blast in the 4th year, with competition from fellow Psy mates and the heavy workload. But now with God's strength, I believe He will carry me through for "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me".
