Would you die for someone you love? + "The Wild"

I just saw this Korean movie on Channel U. It's about a college girl who fell in love with a married guy. The girl died in the end for the guy while the 2 were mountain climbing. She sacrificed herself for the man she loved. That scene was so heart-wrenching. This is what I think true love is all about. You would die for someone that you truly love. I don't think I can ever witness with my own eyes such love in Singapore. Never ever.

I don't think I can be like that girl. I wouldn't be able to die for someone I love. Cos i'm too selfish. After the show, I kept asking myself - would I be willing and be able to die for someone I love? I don't think I can. But I should. Cos I should. Cos the people who would die for me love me too much to let me die. Can you think of someone who would be willing to die for you? I'm sure you can. I can already think of three. And one's already dead but yet alive. (God :P) The other two would be my mum and dad. I can picture my mom cutting the rope at that mountain cliff, so that I can live. And let me tell you - after you picture that someone who's willing to die for you, you'll find that your life is so much more precious than before.

I saw "The Wild" today after my last exam. It was totally hilarious. Although the plot's like Finding Nemo (father finding son), the film had a few touching moments that would make you wanna cry. Throw in the funny sidekick squirrel-rat, the koala bear, Nigel, who's always being made fun of because of that stupid koala bear gift that keeps repeating "I'm so cuddly. I like you!", the female giraffe who's supposedly an independent female and the elastic snake, you've got yourself a funny cartoon movie about a group of animals from the New York Zoo helping a male lion go after its cub that was transported away in a green container (or what they call a green box) to a port nearby the Statue of Liberty (what they call the green lady with spikes on her head and a torch in her right hand).
