Quality time chatting with your best friend

Went to Coffee Bean at Bugis with Zhihui and stayed there frm 2 - 5.30pm. Haha.. we had another one of our talking marathons and chatted all the while we were der. So fun. We talked about stuff ranging from family, to pri sch to sec school to JC to NUS, to pimples, to hair, to planning birthday gifts for each other (btw I'm getting a pedicure/manicure day which i bet will be fun. hehe. and she'll be getting something that's gonna expand her mind) to jobs and to marriage. I love spending time liddat just catching up on what we're doing cos we haven't met up since before CNY even tho we're in the same sch. Der's juz no time cos schedule is hectic and exams are always ard the corner. But now she's graduating and "leaving me behind" haha, I feel weird...

When it came to the topic of birthdays, I was like "don't remind me i'm turning 22".. lol.. I want to stay 21 forever despite the fact that i'm becoming old in another 3 mths time. haha.. cos 22 sounds very old liao lor.. It was just like yday I was still in GM and still mugging for the O levels and had all my close friends with me. I miss those days back in GM tho i've not went back ever since 2003. Gr8 that GM will be moving back soon. Wanna go back and visit Mrs Chang.

After that we went to "hunt" for Huiting's accessories shop in Bugis street and found one that we suspected shld be the one cos there was no signboard or rather... a signboard that was covered up by a filmsy sheet of paper. but we identified it cos of the butterflies she mentioned in the blog. I tot it was supposed to be open for business since Polling Day but apparently not.. and der was no shopkeeper in the shop and yuan lai the shopkeeper was standing outside the shop chatting with another shopowner auntie... i tot it wld be like an actual shop that wld have at least a few customers but it wasn't wat i expected..

Did anybody vote on Polling Day? It feels funny that now we all have the power to vote... meaning that we're 21, old enough to make decisions that will affect the future of Singapore. I didn't get to vote tho... lol since I'm under Marine Parade GRC. neither did Zhihui.. haha altho she doesn't really care whereas i'm all for voting cos i just wanna see how it works. I went to see once while my parents were voting but can't really rem much.

It's weird how 2 ppl who have almost opposite personalities can become best friends. Let's start frm the beginning.. I was all alone when i came to GM on the first day. Sat alone in class, in front of Zhihui, Amy and Serene. First thing I talked to her abt was asking her abt a Maths question. Like always, she was very patient and helpful. And then dunno how i went over and sat with her cos she's sitting by herself too. I rem we decided that she wld sit near the wall whil i sat by the aisle cos she's left-handed and i'm right-handed so tt we won't knock into each other's elbows while writing. Den we always hung out together during recess with Amy and Serene. cos the 4 of us almost always didn't eat lunch, we just hang out outside the science lab behing the canteen, talking. haha.. good ol' days.

Zhihui is almost completely opposite from me. She's mature, sensible, considerate, thoughtful while I'm... er... dunoo.. cos can't say i'm immature cos i'm mature at times, but act like i'm still 16 most of d times. Zhihui's more of an introvert while i'm more of an ambivert, in between intro and extro. I'm more impulsive when it comes to some stuff while she'll take her time to think through. She's more normal while I'm weird and eccentric. haha. can't think of anymore.. if u think u know me or Zhihui.. tell me abt it in the chatbox.
