Shopping makes me a happy girlHey guys,
Hehe.. went shopping today by myself - no it's not pathetic at all - trust me. It's a good thing to shop alone. I'll give you 5 reasons why.
1) You don't have to stop OR you can stop whenever you want - you don't have to ask your shopping buddy whether she wants to have a break cos you're all by yourself - not that shopping with your girlfriends or sisters is not fun. It's just that you can go whereever you want w/o stopping!! (LOL)
2) You can rush to whichever shop that you fancy without having to worry whether your buddy can keep up with you.
3) You don't have to go to shops that your buddy likes and you aren't really interested in.
4) You can spend any amount of money you like without having to worry what your buddy thinks of you.
5) Best of ALL, you can spend the entire afternoon looking at stuff you like and revisit any shops you want as many times as you want!! lol!!
Yup - shopping makes me really happy - lol - i can get to see so many things and the latest trends (although sometimes the stuff they have in shops look really fake and whatever trends that is trendy in Singapore now has long gone in the US) - and it even makes me understand myself better - like getting to know which kind of stuff I like or dislike that I didn't know before.
I went Far East today and bought 2 clutches!! wooh hooh!! Saw so many that I liked but were pretty expensive like above $35, which was my budget, especially this silver clutch that was just nice for my palm and looks really cool but was $39. Some others were reall ugly so I didn't even bother checking them out. I bought mine for 20 each and one of them's with in bluish green and an asian motif pattern (which doesn't look "cheenah" or old-fashioned at all, in fact really trendy lol, perfect for chinese new year) and the other's in dark pink tweed with a bit of sparkle here and there, which is so cool!!
I also saw this pair of ballet flats in silver - really pretty and was really cheap, only $16 but they didn't have my size - poor me... lol..
Then I bought these 2 pairs of earrings - one's like a bunch of grapes, except that they were pearls, in lilac. The other's a pair of chandelier earrings - which has really small colorful transparent plastic discs. I love earrings!!!!! Definitely going to go back there someday to go on a earring shopping spree, lol.
and now my feet hurts cos i went like up and down the floors so many times i can't remember and was there ever since like 10.30am when the shops were not open yet until around 1pm, lol... i can really shop, i know.. lol. Call me a shopping queen and I wouldn't deny it, haha..
